ID Organic chemistry and biochemistry laboratory is a place or facility that is equipped with specific tools and chemicals to support learning in the field of organic chemistry and biochemistry. This laboratory has supporting facilities that meet the criteria of an ideal chemistry laboratory. This laboratory has four workbench benches (practicum), one fume hood unit with and has a shelf where the chemicals needed from organic chemistry and biochemistry labs are placed. This laboratory also has a special room for storing glassware (category 1 tools) and a special room for storing category 2 instruments (electronics). The category 2 instrumentation available in this laboratory includes:laminar airflow, water bath and UV-Visible BioSpec spectrophotometer.
The organic chemistry and biochemistry laboratories are equipped with blackboards and power source devices that can be used as media for delivering practical materials. This laboratory also has good air circulation, because it is equipped with 3 window units and a central exhaust . The irrigation system in organic chemistry and biochemistry laboratories is also very good due to the installation of a Reverse Osmosis Water machine . In terms of OSH, organic chemistry and biochemistry laboratories also have adequate facilities, such as first aid kits and eye washers and safety showers.which can be used when a work accident occurs during the practicum, and there is a smoke detection system that will function when an emergency occurs (fire). Finally, the security of the chemical laboratory academic community will also be guaranteed because each chemical laboratory has equipped CCTV cameras.
