Acara yang berlangsung secara <em>offline <\/em>di Gedung Dewi Sartika Ruang 912 ini menghadirkan narasumber berpengalaman dari National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST) Taiwan, yaitu <strong>Prof. Shyi-Tien Chen<\/strong> selaku dosen <em>Department of Safety, Health, &amp; Environmental Engineering <\/em>serta <strong>Prof. Dr. Irma Ratna Kartika, M.Sc.Tech<\/strong> selaku dosen Program Studi Kimia UNJ. <em>Workshop<\/em> ini dihadiri oleh 40 peserta yang berasal dari Program Studi Kimia Angkatan 2021, 2022 dan 2023.<\/p><p><em>Workshop<\/em> ini bertujuan untuk memperkaya wawasan mahasiswa mengenai perkembangan penelitian dalam bioteknologi dan biologi molekuler. Rangkaian acara dimulai dengan pembukaan, pembacaan doa, pemaparan materi oleh Prof. Shyi-Tien Chen, dilanjut dengan pemaparan materi oleh Prof. Dr. Irma Ratna Kartika, M.Sc.Tech, penyerahan simbolis sertifikat kepada pemateri, penutupan, dan sesi dokumentasi.<\/p><p>Dalam sesi pemaparan materi interaktif oleh Prof. Shyi-Tien Chen, peserta diajak untuk memahami seputar biologi molekular dan aplikasinya. Selain itu, disampaikan juga pendahuluan terkait National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology (NKUST) Taiwan dan dua program beasiswa di NKUST yaitu IIPP dan TEEP. Kemudian, pemaparan masuk ke dalam inti pembahasan, yaitu terkait perkembangan terkini seputar biologi molecular. Pada tahap ini, peserta\u00a0memahami terkait rekayasa genetik dengan menggunakan Teknik CRISPR-Cas9. Pada sesi ini, peserta diajak memahami terkait penelitian terbaru Ibu Irma Ratna Kartika terkait sintesis senyawa turunan \u03b1-tocopherol sebagai agen antioksidan dan antikanker. Peserta memahami apa saja senyawa turunan yang disintesis, cara sintesis, dan uji karakterisasi apa saja yang dilakukan.
