Acara ini dihadiri oleh mahasiswa\/I prodi kimia UNJ secara\u00a0<em>online <\/em>melalui platform Zoom Cloud Meetings. Kuliah umum ini menghadirkan narasumber yang ahli dalam bidang kimia organik, yaitu\u00a0<strong>Ibu Dr. Elvira Hermawati, M.Si.<\/strong>\u00a0selaku\u00a0dosen Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB).<\/p><p>Tujuan dari seri kuliah umum ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam mengenai topik utama dalam kimia organik, yaitu <strong>penentuan struktur molekul menggunakan NMR (<em>Nuclear Magnetic Resonance<\/em>)<\/strong>. Peserta kuliah umum mendapatkan pemahaman mengenai cara interpretasi data berupa spektrum yang dihasilkan oleh alat instrument NMR dalam penentuan struktur salah satu jenis metabolit sekunder yaitu sesquiterpen. Narasumber dan peserta melakukan tanya jawab aktif selama kuliah umum ini berlangsung.<\/p><p>Dengan terselenggaranya seri kuliah umum ini, diharapkan membekali mahasiswa dengan pengetahuan yang relevan di bidang kimia organik. Seri kuliah umum ini tidak hanya membahas teoritis, tetapi juga memberikan wawasan praktis dan studi kasus mengenai bagaimana teknik NMR digunakan secara sinergis dalam proyek-proyek penelitian dan pengembangan produk.
