The 2023 Mathematics Family Dialogue (DKBM) is an annual agenda carried out by the Mathematics Family initiated by the Mathematics Study Program which was successfully held at the KH Hasjiem Asjari’e Building on June 27 2023 with the theme “Effectiveness of Hybrid Systems in the Transition Period”. Meanwhile, DKBM is a gathering place between lecturers and students in the Mathematics Cluster as well as a forum for discussing and fixing all problems that exist in the Mathematics Cluster.<\/p>

The event began with an opening by the MC after obtaining approval from the authorized lecturer representatives, then the event continued with the singing of the Indonesia Raya song and the UNJ march as well as welcoming remarks from the chief executive, the Chair of BEMP Mathematics and representatives of the Mathematics Cluster Coordinating Study Program, namely Mr. Dr. Makmuri M.Sc. who also serves as Coordinator of the Mathematics Education Masters Study Program.<\/p>

The core agenda of this DKBM is a questionnaire presentation session which was previously distributed by OPMAWA in the Mathematics Cluster to be completed by students in the Mathematics Cluster. This activity was led by a moderator, namely Muhammad Rizqi Rahman Hakim, with the presentation of the lecturer questionnaire represented by Mrs. Dr. Dian Handayani, S.Sc., M.Sc. which was followed by a presentation of the results of the student questionnaire read by Muhammad Diaz Adjie Pamungkas as a representative of the Mathematics Cluster students.<\/p>

Next, after the session explaining the contents of the questionnaire, the agenda shifted to a discussion session in the form of responses to the problems presented in the previous questionnaire and a question session between lecturers and students.<\/p>

The discussion session went well, with lecturers and students actively participating in exchanging opinions regarding the topics discussed and responding to each other’s statements. This DKBM core session lasted approximately one and a half hours before the moderator stated that the discussion session had to be closed.<\/p>

The results of the discussion on the 2023 Mathematics Family Dialogue (DKBM) agenda yesterday include the following:<\/p>

DISCUSSION RESULTS:<\/strong><\/p>

  • What is an effective hybrid learning method in a transition period?<\/li><\/ul>

    Answer:<\/p>

    > Students are expected to read the material before and after lectures, because the credit system is designed with the following division:<\/p>

    \u2013 50 minutes of scheduled face-to-face contact.<\/p>

    \u2013 60 minutes of structured academic activities.<\/p>

    \u2013 60 minutes of independent activity.<\/p>

    > Students are advised to have special plans, such as group study, when schedule changes occur.<\/p>

    \u00a0<\/p>

    • Can students utilize the infrastructure on campus, especially the computer lab?<\/li><\/ul>

      Answer:<\/p>

      > Rooms that do not currently have scheduled teaching and learning activities can be used for independent study for students.<\/p>

      > Final year students can use a special room to work on assignments with their supervisor or study friend.<\/p>

      > Requests to use the room in question must be submitted by letter to the study program admin.<\/p>

      • Can students request transparency and grade corrections?<\/li><\/ul>

        Answer:<\/p>

        > Procedurally, students are allowed to request grade transparency from the lecturer concerned.<\/p>

        > The value correction process only occurs if an error occurs when inputting the value into the system.<\/p>
