Laboratorium penelitian bertujuan untuk mendukung kegiatan penelitian dosen dan mahasiswa. Laboratorium Penelitian yang dimaksud meliputi: Laboratorium material, Laboratorium Instrumentasi, Laboratorium komputasi dan sistem kompleks, laboratorium media digital, laboratorium energi, laboratorium tempurung kelapa, serta bengkel mekanik.
