In July 22nd to 24th 2023, the lecturers of Master of Mathematics Education of FMIPA UNJ conducted a community service in Tidung Island, Kepulauan Seribu. This project resulted from the collaboration between the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences,\u00a0 Universitas Negeri Jakarta, and the Education Office, Administrative Regency\u00a0of Kepulauan Seribu.<\/p>

The opening ceremony was attended by the Head of SMKN 61 Jakarta (Mr. Heru Puspito, S.Pd.), the Head of SDN Tidung 03 (Mrs. Rustini),\u00a0 students and\u00a0 teachers from local schools,\u00a0 lecturers, staffs and students of Master of Mathematics Education.\u00a0<\/p>

The event was officially opened by the Head of SMKN 61 Jakarta, who also hosted this activity. During the speech, Mr. Heru expressed his gratitude and support for this activity. “I hope this activity can be carried out on an ongoing basis”, he added.<\/p>

Meanwhile, Dr. Makmuri, M. Si., the representative of the mathematics group and coordinator for the Master of Mathematics Education study program, expressed gratitude to the Administrative Regency Education Office of Kepulauan Seribu and SMKN 61 Jakarta for being partners in this activity. He also reiterated the importance of community service activities in fulfilling the Tri Dharma of higher education for every lecturer.<\/p>

The two-day community service featured speakers from Master of Mathematics Education, they are: Dr Makmuri, M.Si., Dr Pinta Deniyanti Sampoerno, M.Si., Dr Lukman El Hakim, M.Pd., Dr Meiliasari, M.Sc., Tian Abdul Aziz, Ph.D. Dr Flavia Aurelia Hidajat, S.Pd., M.Pd. The lecturers conducted teacher training on mathematics learning, learning evaluation, and educational technology.<\/p>

The attendees for this activity were elementary school students, teachers at the elementary, junior high, and vocational levels, and also locals. They acquired knowledge and expertise on the presented materials.<\/p>

Based on the results of the questionnaire at the end of the community service, the participants expressed positive feedback and hoped that this activity could be held regularly.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
