Acara ini merupakan salah satu langkah untuk meningkatkan kuantitas dan kualitas publikasi seluruh dosen di rumpun matematika FMIPA UNJ dan juga mahasiswa S1 dan S2 Prodi Pendidikan Matematika FMIPA UNJ. Wakil Dekan FMIPA Bidang Akademik FMIPA UNJ Prof. Dr. Muktiningsih, M.Si berkenan hadir, memberikan sambutan, dan sekaligus membuka acara workshop ini. Setelah itu, Dr. Makmuri selaku Koordinator Program Studi S2 Pendidikan Matematika memberikan sambutan. Dalam sambutannya beliau menekankan pentingnya publikasi bagi dosen dan mahasiswa. Acara ini menghadirkan narasumber yang sangat berkompeten di bidangnya, yaitu Prof. Dr. Zulkardi, M.Ikom., M.Sc. yang juga sebagai chief editor Jurnal on Mathematics Education (JME).<\/p>\n<p>Prof Zul memaparkan materi yang penting bagi para dosen dan mahasiswa yang sedang menyusun skripsi atau tesis, diantaranya: mengapa menulis artikel penting? Karakteristik Artikel berkualitas, mencari Jurnal Terakreditasi Nasional di SINTA, Informasi terkait JME: Jurnal Internasional Bereputasi (Scopus), dan topik dan sumber riset yang up-to-date.
