DESCRIPTION

Physiology laboratory in Laboratory Premises of Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, East Campus, UNJ is a laboratory used to support practical activities of compulsory and elective courses available in the Department of Biology and the Department of Biological Education, UNJ. The physiology educational laboratory is designed with a flexible framework concept, accommodating a more dynamic student work group able to accommodate up to 30 students.

Physiology Educational Laboratory is used for courses:Plant Physiology (Compulsory course), Animal Physiology (Compulsory course), Plant Nutrition Sciences (Elective course), Plant Ecophysiology (Elective course), Plant Pathogenic Microbes (Elective course), Plant Virology (Elective course), Population Genetics (Elective course), Phytoremediation (Elective course), and Immunology (Elective course)

The practicum of plant physiology generally consists of water and its connection with plants, water and soil, water transport in plants, plant photosynthesis and respiration, quantitative measure of gas volume in anaerobic respiration, seeds germination and dormancy, sugar and starch interconversion in plants. Meanwhile, the practicum of animal physiology generally consists of identification of blood cells in mice, antigen-antibody, cell respiration.
