Greenhouse and Screenhouse , are located on Campus B Faculty Mathemathic and Natural Sciences UNJ Jl. Pemuda Jakarta Timur is an outdoor experimental laboratory used for research students and lecturers in the Biology Study Program and the Biology Education Study Program. This building is enclosed by a translucent laser light roof (Greenhouse), Paranet roof (Screenhouse), and a wire wall covered with steel mosquito net to prevent insects and small animals from entering the greenhouse.
The research topics of students and lecturers of the Biology study program are hardening-of for in vitro cultured plants and evaluating the growth of various cultivar of banana (Musa spp), rice (Oryza sativa L.), foxtail millet (Setaria italica (L.) P.Beauv.), tomato (Solanum lycopersicum syn. Lycopersicum esculentum), kenikir (Cosmos caudatus Kunth.), and basil (Ocimum basilicum), and other horticultural crops. The screenhouse is also an outdoor experimental laboratory to support practicum in Plant Tissue Culture, Plant Physiology, Plant Ecophysiology, Plant Nutrient, and Fundamentals of Horticulture.
