Jakarta, May 6, 2025 – The Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) has officially established a strategic partnership with Global Islamic School 2 Serpong through the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS). The signing ceremony was held at the Auditorium of Global Islamic School 2 Serpong, from 10:00 to 12:00 WIB.
This collaboration aims to support the implementation of education, research, and community service, as well as to enhance the quality of educators and students through synergy between higher education institutions and schools.
Presentation from FMIPA UNJ Study Programs
The event began with a presentation session from each academic division within FMIPA UNJ:

Ade Suryanda, M.Si., Coordinator of the Biology Education Study Program, opened the presentation by discussing potential collaboration in Biology, including laboratory-based research projects.

Dr. Irma Ratna Kartika, M.Sc., Tech., Coordinator of the Master’s Program in Chemistry Education, presented plans to strengthen applied chemistry research that can be implemented jointly with Global Islamic School 2 Serpong.

Dr. Yudi Mahatma, M.Si., Coordinator of the Undergraduate Program in Mathematics, discussed the potential for academic mentoring programs for students in Mathematics and Statistics.

Dwi Susanti, S.Pd., M.Pd., Coordinator of the Physics Education Study Program, emphasized the importance of collaboration in the development of technology-based learning tools for Physics.
UNJ Admissions System
The presentation session was continued by Dr. Eng. Agung Premono, M.T., Director of Admissions at UNJ, who provided an overview of the university’s admission system. He shared information about the available admission pathways, flagship programs, and scholarship opportunities for outstanding students from Global Islamic School 2 Serpong.
Discussion and Signing of the Cooperation Agreement
The event proceeded with a discussion session between FMIPA UNJ and representatives of Global Islamic School 2 Serpong, represented by Ms. Chery. This session explored opportunities for implementing tangible collaborative programs, including potential joint research, student mentoring, and skill development programs for educators.

Dean of FMIPA UNJ, Dr. Hadi Nasbey, M.Si., expressed his hope that this cooperation will not only remain at the administrative level but will also be implemented through impactful programs that contribute to improving the quality of education at both institutions.
