WHAT IS UNJCC?

Universitas Negeri Jakarta Culture Collection (UNJCC) is an institution that actively manages collections of microorganisms, which include various strains of yeast, bacteria and fungi. The focus of our research is the exploration of microbial diversity originating from agricultural products and fermented foods, as well as their application in various fields, such as sustainable agriculture, health, industrial optimization, food safety and sustainability. The strains of microorganisms that we manage support academic interests, the health sector, the food industry, and are used in microbiology laboratories in Indonesia. UNJCC has an important role in supporting research and development in various sectors related to microorganisms.

HISTORY

UNJCC was first established in 2014 and is affiliated with Universitas Negeri Jakarta, Indonesia. This organization plays a role in managing collections of microorganisms such as yeast, bacteria and fungi. UNJCC has a short but important history of supporting microbiology research and contributing to the development of various fields, including sustainable agriculture, health, industrial optimization, and food safety and sustainability.
