On July 17, 2025, lecturers from the Mathematics Study Program of Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) continued their Community Service Program by conducting an online training session entitled “Training for MGMP Mathematics Teachers in Preparing Students for Mathematics Olympiads”.
This session served as a follow-up to the previous in-person (offline) training and was held online to reach a broader audience. The participants, who are members of the MGMP Mathematics Teachers Association, engaged in intensive sessions focusing on key topics frequently encountered in mathematics olympiads: Geometry, Combinatorics, Number Theory, and Algebra.

Each session began with a brief review of fundamental concepts, key definitions, and important theorems, followed by guided examples and targeted practice problems designed to enhance the participants’ problem-solving skills.
Despite the online format, the teachers participated actively and demonstrated great enthusiasm throughout the training. The interactive discussions created a dynamic learning atmosphere and fostered meaningful engagement.
This program reflects the strong commitment of the Mathematics Study Program at UNJ to supporting teacher professional development and advancing mathematics education in Indonesia.
Keep moving forward, Mathematics Indonesia!
