Master of Mathematics Education

PERIODIC REVIEW OF THE CURRICULUM

The curriculum of the study programme is updated along with the development of science and technology as well as the community needs and the needs in the field of work. The curriculum update in 2020-2021 anticipates the industrial era 4.0 through the ICT-based Curriculum Update Grant Program with funding sourced from SFD (Saudi Fund for Development). The ICT-based curriculum of the study program contains the formulations of University Learning Outcomes, which are implemented in educational insight courses and adopt the industrial era 4.0, the 21st-century skills, and digital technology in the Big Data and Programming course.

This update coincides with the release of the MBKM (Freedom of Learning) policy by the Ministry of Education, which gives students the right to carry out off-campus learning for 1-3 semesters. This policy is then implemented in the form of MBKM activities with 20 credits (SKS) for 1 full semester. The activities include student exchange, industrial internships and independent studies, Kampus Mengajar, thematic community services, and MBKM for job internships and learning internships. The guidelines and rules for implementing the MBKM are written in the guidebook for implementing the MBKM UNJ and the conversion rules for the MBKM of study program.
