Implementing International mobilisation, lecturers and students of Mathematics and Natural Sciences Faculty of Universitas Negeri Jakarta participate in International Workshop. The program is conducted from November 29 to December 1, 2022 in Johor, Malaysia.

The workshop raised the theme on development of natural antimicrobial products : Microbial and Herbal processing. Eight lecturers and fourteen students of Biology, Biology education and Master of Biology education programs joined the workshop. Vice of Cooperation, students and alumni of FMIPA UNJ, Dr. Diana Vivanti also becoming part of the participants. The three days’ workshop is not only conducted by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), but also involving international industry of Sateera Sdn. Bhd and Nutrition Technology Sdn. Bhd.

Dean of FMIPA UNJ, Prof. Dr. Muktiningsih N, M.Si, states that the program is an attempt of opening students and lecturers horizon on knowledge from International University as well as Industry. Not only that, Prof Mukti also said that the workshop could be the best opportunities for lecturers to build International collaboration in term of research, teaching and community services.

Facilitators of the workshop were organized under the director of Institute of Bioproducts Development (IBD)- UTM, Prof. Dr. Hesham A El Enshasy. More than twelve facilitators are IBD team, one from  Sateera and five facilitators from nutrition technology.
