RPL (Recognition of Past Learning) in the Master of Mathematics Education FMIPA UNJ

Recognition of Past Learning (RPL) is a mandate from Law No. 20 of 2003 on the National Education System and Law No. 12 of 2012 on Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia, namely to provide the widest possible opportunity for each individual to pursue formal, non-formal and informal education through lifelong learning facilities and to provide equalisation opportunities for certain qualifications. For this reason, UNJ organises RPL in order to provide the community with the opportunity to continue formal education to a higher level, which ultimately means providing evidence of learning outcomes in the form of a diploma.

The recognised prior learning and/or experience may come from other formal education from another university (type A1) or from non-formal, informal education and/or work experience (type A2). RPL of learning outcomes from formal education in higher education (type A1) is similar to credit transfer. Type A1 RPL can be achieved through transcript and curriculum assessment. RPL of learning outcomes derived from non-formal, informal education and/or work experience for further study in higher education for partial recognition of semester credits/semester points (Type A2) is carried out in two stages, namely the assessment and the recognition process.
