The third session of our Visiting Lecturer Series took place on October 19, 2024, and it was an incredible experience!

This session focused on the exciting topic of Designing and managing TPACK-based biology Learning with Global Capabilities. We were honored to have Prof. Li Jen Lester, a renowned Professor and expert in Engineering Technology, as our distinguished guest speaker. Prof. Lester is an active educator at the College of Science and Engineering Technology at Sam Houston State University in the United States.

In this session, Prof. Lester shared invaluable insights with our students on leveraging technology in TPACK-based learning to enhance capacity and the global quality of education. His presentation was not only informative but also interactive and engaging. Despite the online format via Zoom, Prof. Lester encouraged students to engage in group discussions and brainstorming sessions, ensuring that everyone was involved and actively learning.

We are genuinely excited about the possibility of inviting him to give an in-person lecture at the Biology Education Program at UNJ in the future!
