The development of soft skills by the Physics study program is carried out in 3 ways, namely: (1) integrated during academic guidance by lecturers, (2) integrated in each course, and (3) embedded in one course in the first semester, namely the Olympism course.
The Olympism course outlines the philosophy and values of the Olympics, understanding the nation’s culture, building a harmonious society, building a soul of winning character, instilling Olympism to produce leaders with character. The implementation of the Olympism course includes face-to-face meetings, socialization practices in schools/community groups and the application of Olympic values in the form of a camp called Olympism Camp.
The objectives of Olympism Camp are:
- Mental and character development of students
- Applying and developing the values of Olympism in various aspects of life.
The “Physics Solidarity Games (PSG)” activity is in the form of a competition aimed at active students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. The competitions held were poster competition, Tik Tok competition, Gartic.io game competition, Mobile Legends competition and Futsal Competition.
The Student Creativity Program is an activity to improve the quality of students in higher education so that they can become members of society who have academic and/or professional abilities that can apply, develop and disseminate science, technology and/or arts and enrich national culture.
This activity, which is devoted to the initial introduction of the Islamic campus world for new students, was held at Villa Khalifah, Sukabumi. The theme taken in this activity is, Grasping Achievement with Qur’anic Akhlaq to become a True Muslim. In accordance with the theme taken, this activity teaches us to achieve with quranic akhlaq. The materials provided are the importance of shahada, being a true Muslim, the urgency of SISKOM, and the last one is a debate about a polemic that is trending among Islamic youth and young people. As with other activities, in this activity also held outbound which contains many implied meanings, such as the importance of ukhuwah, testing mutual trust, and sharpening memory.
Kominfo Academy is a workshop event that is an introduction and training activity in making web presentations that aims to develop the ability of educators and students in designing interactive and representative web presentations.
This activity was held because it sees the importance of every human being in an organization or in the world of work in today’s digital era to have an attractive and easy-to-understand presentation. Therefore, Kominfo Academy will be attended by general students spread throughout Indonesia, especially UNJ students and educators throughout Indonesia.
The more advanced technology and the wider the means to accelerate the dissemination of information in this modern era, it requires an innovation from before, namely the dissemination of information through the Website. BEMP Pendidikan Fisika FMIPA UNJ 2023/2024.
This SHAF event is themed Baper Youth (Bring Change) by Exemplifying the Attributes of the Apostle with the concept of social service and study which invites ustadz Asep Suryana as a study speaker. We held this event on Sunday, October 9, 2022 and was attended by 62 participants plus several invited guests. The purpose of this event is to instill the nature of youth based on the Prophet Muhammad, so that the Physics Group Students of FMIPA UNJ become youth carriers of change to the country and nation of Indonesia, and strengthen the relationship of all Physics Group Students of FMIPA UNJ.
Student Leadership Training (PKMP) Physics Education Study Program FMIPA UNJ is one of the activities that aims to form a competent successor organization and ready to contribute to practicing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. In addition, the Student Leadership Training of Physics Education Study Program (PKMP) FMIPA UNJ can also develop soft skills and potential in students to form quality characters. The purpose of the Student Leadership Training of Physics Education Study Program (PKMP) FMIPA UNJ is to develop the spirit of leadership, motivate students to be active in organizations, develop soft skills, produce Physics Education Students who are religious, have integrity, discipline, responsibility, and have a sense of nationalism and partiotrism.
