Seminar Nasional Fisika (National Physics Seminar)

The National Physics Seminar is an annual forum for scientific meetings held by the Physics and Physics Education Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Jakarta State University as a forum for interaction, collaboration and integration between educators, researchers and practitioners. Since it was first held in 2012, the National Physics Seminar is part of the Jakarta State University Anniversary series of events.

Since 2014, the National Physics Seminar has  been held in collaboration with the Department of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Jakarta State University, and the Jakarta branch of the Indonesian Physics Association (Physical Society of Indonesia). Through this collaboration, it is expected to make a positive contribution to the progress of science in Indonesia, especially in the field of physics education and applied physics.

To keep updating knowledge, the theme of the national physics seminar from year to year is always adapted to the times, by inviting Keynote Speakers and invited Speakers from various institutions both domestic and foreign. For 2020, the 9th National Physics Seminar takes the theme “The Role of Physics and Physics Education in Technological Innovation for National Independence in the Industrial Age 4.0” by presenting the following speakers:

Keynote-speaker   :

  1. Dr. Andrivo Rusydi (Department of Physics, National University of Singapore, Singapore)
  2. Dr. Sutopo (Department of Physics Education, Universitas Negeri Malang, Indonesia)
  3. Dr. Eng. Eniya Listiani Dewi (Badan Pengkajian dan Penerapan Teknologi (BPPT), Indonesia)

Invited-Speaker:

  1. Irzaman Husein (Department of Physics, Institut Pertanian Bogor)
  2. rer.nat. Sparisoma Viridi, M.Si (Department of Physics, Institut Teknologi Bandung)
  3. -Ing. Lazuardi Umar, M.Si (Department of Physics, Universitas Riau)
  4. Sahrul Hidayat, M.Si (Department of Physics, Universitas Padjajaran)

All papers that have been presented at SNF and have completed the review process will be published online in National Physics Seminar  Proceedings and receive a Digital Object Identifier (DOI), Spektra Journal and Journal of Research and Development of Physics Education (Sinta Accreditation, DOAJ indexed, Google Scholar, Crossref, Microsoft Academic Search, Indonesian Publication Index, and others). Since 2019, selected papers can be in Scopus indexed AIP Proceedings. Link to National Physics Seminar: http://snf-unj.ac.id.

Proceedings of the National Seminar on Physics

The Physics National Seminar was first held in 2012. In subsequent years, the Physics National Seminar is held once every year-around May or June. All papers accepted at the National Physics Seminar will be published in the proceedings. Proceedings of the seminar results will go through peer-review, and be published in October of the same year. Proceedings of the National Seminar on Physics were published for the first time (2012) at the URL address: http://snf-unj.ac.id/ However, since 2017, all publications and metadata of older publications have moved to address http://journal.unj.ac.id/unj/index.php/prosidingsnf

Since 2019 the National Physics Seminar has collaborated with The American Institute of Physics (AIP) Publishing in publishing international proceedings indexed by Scopus. The following is a collection of online proceedings of the National Physics Seminar since 2012.
