Research

The research as a component of the Tridharma (three main duties) of Higher Education plays a crucial role in advancing knowledge and technology. Without research, the development of knowledge and technology would be impeded. Research is not only directed towards applied fields that can be immediately applied as solutions to contemporary problems, but also needs to be conducted in basic sciences to be further developed in the future.

The Physics study program implements policies in line with UNJ’s policies, where every lecturer is required to conduct research. Research conducted by lecturers must align with the general research policies and the research framework at Universitas Negeri Jakarta, aimed at contributing to the development of the Physics Study Program. This research and scientific work receive research grants at the Faculty, University, and National levels. In conducting their research, lecturers always involve thesis supervision students and educational staff.
