FIELD WORK LECTURE (KKL) 2017

Field Work Lectures (KKL) are one of the activities of students in the Physics Study Program and Physics Education to provide learning experiences to students in the field, such as in educational institutions and industry. KKL activities are also a process of learning and service to communities that are developing and knowing the successes and problems they face. KKL is implemented by universities in an effort to increase the mission and weight of education for students and to obtain greater added value in higher education. Field Work Lectures aim to increase the relevance of higher education to real world developments and community needs in the scope of Science and Technology (IPTEK) including Physics and Physics Education.

Fieldwork Lectures are courses that provide specific experiences in society and the real world in order to improve students’ insight, knowledge and skills. This KKL activity is managed by a study program involving second and/or third year students who are supervised by supervisors. It is hoped that students will gain experience or insight into working in the field before entering the world of work. Apart from that, the KKL program is also expected to provide an overview of the needs of stakeholders for students themselves and institutions. The KKL program also opens up opportunities for institutions to create a climate of good collaboration with other institutions.

OBJECTIVES AND BENEFITS

Field Work Lectures (KKL) are co-curricular activities for every Physics and Physics Education study program student whose implementation is carried out in the form of work visits to KKL partner agencies outside campus.

The objectives of this KKL are:

  1. Get to know and understand the world of work according to your field of science.
  2. Identify various problems and challenges in the world of work.
  3. Understand the application of science and technology learned in lectures to various aspects of the world of work.

The direct benefits that can be felt by students, study programs, faculties and institutions are:

  1. Increasing students’ insight into the world of work according to their field of science
  2. Provide an overview to students about the relationship between theory and its application as well as the factors that influence it
  3. Providing provisions and introductions to students about the world of work in accordance with their field of science

 IMPLEMENTATION OF ACTIVITIES
