ACHIEVE THE SENSI GYMNASTIC STUDENT RECORD
MOST VIRTUAL IN INDONESIA

Jakarta State University (UNJ) again received the MURI (Indonesian World Records Museum) Award Certificate for the SENSI Gymnastics Record (Spoon and Chair) which was carried out virtually by 6433 new UNJ students. The charter was handed over at the Closing Ceremony for the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) UNJ 2021.

The 2021 UNJ PKKMB was carried out offline on the 80.2 hectare UNJ Cikarang Land, and online via Zoom witnessed by the entire UNJ academic community and new students (Saturday, 21/08/2021).

The event was attended by the Director General of Watershed Management and Forest Rehabilitation of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, Ir. Helmi Basalamah, MM, Special Staff of the Ministry of Investment and Investment, Pradana Indraputra, ME, Head of the Bekasi Regency Education Office, Dr. Carwinda, M.Sc., UNJ Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. Sylviana Murni, SH, M.Sc., and several other honored guests.

The award was given directly by the General Manager of MURI, Awan Rahargo, and received by the Chancellor of UNJ, Prof. Dr. Komarudin, M.Sc.

“One of the series of PKKMB UNJ 2021 activities caught our attention, where UNJ carried out virtual gymnastics with the largest number of new student participants in Indonesia,” said Awan.

Prof. Komarudin expressed his gratitude to MURI for giving UNJ a plaque for the third time. In his speech, Komarudin also welcomed and welcomed all new students to his beloved campus, campus of struggle, center of thought and land of civilization.

“You are the chosen student from among the many prospective students who are interested in entering UNJ. “For this reason, you must have a sense of pride in being a student at Jakarta State University,” explained Komardin.

Komarudin hopes that PKKMB can increase knowledge, insight and shape the character of UNJ students who are tough, intelligent, innovative and competitive, as is the central role of students as agents of national change.

There are 3 important keys to becoming an agent of change . First, you must be able to become a champion and role model in the academic field. Second, become a champion and role model in student organizations. Third, become a champion and role model in the family, community and for the nation and state.

The closing of the 2021 PKKMB was marked by pressing the siren button together and awarding the alma mater to 8 new student faculty representatives by the respective faculty deans.

The event then ended with the planting of 138 trees on UNJ Cikarang land by leaders, invited guests and new UNJ students. These trees include several rare tree species such as Bisbul, Manglid, Nam Nam, and Macadamia which were given by the Watershed and Protected Forest Management Center (BPDASHL), Ministry of Environment and Forestry.
