UNJ Achieves Excellence Predicate

UNJ Public Relations (05/02/2021) – On 25 – 26 January 2021, Jakarta State University (UNJ) carried out Higher Education Reaccreditation. In the Higher Education Accreditation Field Assessment Activity (AL APT),  there were six assessors assigned  by the   National  Higher Education Accreditation Board  (BAN-PT), namely: Prof. Suhanan from Gadjah Mada University (UGM) as Anchor, Prof. Muslimin Ibrahim from Surabaya State University (Unesa), Prof. Indra Maipita from Medan State University (Unimed), Prof. Seger Handoyo from Airlangga University (Unair), Johan Andoyo Effendi Noor, Ph.D from Brawijaya University (UB), and Dr. Indriaty Sudirman from Hasanuddin University (Unhas).   

In  this  accreditation , the Assessor  Team  used new criteria  consisting  of  9 criteria  set  by BAN PT,  namely: (1) Vision, Mission, Goals and Strategy (2) Civil Service, Governance and Cooperation; (3) Students; (4) Human Resources; (5) Finance, Facilities and Infrastructure; (6) Education; (7) Research; (8) Community Service; and (9) Outcomes and Achievements of the Tridharma of Higher Education.     

In the   accreditation  carried out by the   BAN  PT  Assessor  Team  in 2021 , UNJ received Superior Accreditation Based on  BAN-PT Decree No. 45/SK/BAN-PT/Akred/PT/II/2021, it is stated that Jakarta State University meets the requirements for the Superior Accreditation ranking with a score of 366. UNJ’s Superior Accreditation Status is valid from 2 February 2021 to 2 February 2026.  

By achieving this Superior Accreditation , Prof. Dr. Komarudin ,  M.Si as the Chancellor of UNJ was happy  and  proud of the achievements        which was obtained by UNJ with the support of the entire UNJ community, including lecturers, education staff, students and alumni as well as partners and users. “The Superior Accreditation achieved by UNJ currently shows that UNJ is one of the best campuses in Indonesia which has various achievements to be proud of,” said the Chancellor of UNJ. The Chancellor of UNJ also expressed his gratitude to all UNJ community members who have helped and supported the UNJ reaccreditation process. “Thank you to the UNJ extended family, including lecturers, education staff, students and alumni including partners and users who have supported the UNJ reaccreditation process, and thank God UNJ received Superior Accreditation. This is all from us, by us, and for all of us as a big UNJ family. “We should be proud of UNJ’s achievements,” said Prof. Dr.

Prof. Dr. Komarudin, M.Si hopes that by achieving this Superior Accreditation by UNJ, it can be a motivation for UNJ to continue to maintain and improve UNJ’s achievements and reputation. “UNJ’s superior accreditation is capital for UNJ to become the best campus in Indonesia and become a reputable campus in the Asian region,” said Prof. Dr. Komarudin, M.Sc.
