On May 16 2020 or the 23rd of Ramadhan 1441 H, Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ) celebrated its 56th birthday. However, there is something different about this 2020 celebration, namely that the event will be held online via YouTube and zoom media. This is because Jakarta is still implementing Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) to suppress the growth rate of the Covid-19 virus. The theme for this anniversary is “Development of Global Capability and Local Identity in the Digital Era” and was opened by the Chancellor of UNJ, Dr. Komarudin, M.Sc. This activity itself was carried out by the Faculty of Languages and Arts (FBS) chaired by Dr. Liliana Muliastuti, M.Pd. In addition, several congratulations were also delivered, among others, by Prof. Dr. Agus Setyo Budi as chairman of the Region III DIKTI Service Institute and K.H. Ma’ruf Amin as vice president of the Republic of Indonesia.
