Studium General of Physics Study Program and Physics Education
On September 23 2019 the physics and physics education study program held a general stadium event which is a routine event at the beginning of each semester. The event was attended by physics and physics education students and their lecturers. At this event, the committee invited two speakers, namely Drs. Widya Sawitar from Planetarium Jakarta and Dr. Hadi Nasbey from the Jakarta State University, physics education program. In addition, the purpose of this event is as a means of exchanging ideas to get input and insights regarding the development of science and technology as well as problems that exist in society or in the field.
The first material was given by Drs. Widya Sawitar which contains studies about astronomy, such as the occurrence of lunar and solar eclipses. In this discussion, the speaker talked about ongoing research at the planetarium. One of the discussions is to determine the occurrence of a solar eclipse. This is very interesting because in the past two years there have been several solar eclipses.
The second material was given by Dr. Hadi Nasbey which contains discussions about the world of education, especially those related to physics education. This discussion covers frequently researched topics and job opportunities related to physics education. In addition, motivation to increase enthusiasm for learning is also given in this discussion.
