SHAWOL: Sharing with our Lecturers 2020
As a form of friendly relations between lecturers and students, BEM of physics study program and physics education Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Jakarta State University held a ‘Sharing with Our Lecturers (Shawol)’ event which was held on Saturday 19 December 2020. This activity raised the theme ‘Together Facing Pandemic Towards Effective and Productive Learning in the Digital Era’ via the zoom application. This is based on the Covid 19 pandemic which is still ongoing throughout the world today.
For this event, all the committees involved were all physics study program students and physics education while the lecturers only provided experience and motivation to students. The event started at 08.00 by the MC, followed by remarks by the BEM physics education supervisor, Mr. Handjoko Permana, M.Sc. and the physics BEM coach, Mrs. Dr. Mutia Delina. After that, the event was continued by games held by and for students.
After the games ended, the main event started, which was a talk show with lecturers and students. The MC then guides the course of this sharing. The sharing event started with several lecturers sharing their experiences in the form of tips and tricks for being able to study abroad. The conclusion that can be drawn from this experience is that students must have planning, passion, and networking. This cannot be separated from the procedures that must be fulfilled by universities abroad.
This sharing session ended at 11.15 and the event continued with a documentation session. In this session, the lecturers were invited to leave the discussion forum while the students continued the Shawol event until it finished at 11.40.
