LPPM Awards 2023: Physics Department, Jakarta State University Wins 11 Awards at the 59th Anniversary

Jakarta, [May 16 2023] – Jakarta State University is proud to announce the brilliant achievement achieved by the Physics Department at the 2023 LPPM Awards event, which was held to commemorate the university’s 59th Anniversary. The Physics Department won a total of 11 prestigious awards divided into the categories of study program excellence, journal management, and individual achievements.

In the Study Program Excellence category, the Department of Physics managed to dominate by achieving the highest ranking on SINTA scores for the three best study programs. The sequence is S1 Physics Education, S2 Physics Education, and S1 Physics.

The success of the Physics Department was also reflected in the category of journal management, JPPPF (Journal of Research and Development of Physics Education) won an award as a SINTA-2 accredited national journal. This award is a clear proof of the journal’s extraordinary contribution to the development of science.

In addition, the individual achievements of the Physics Department lecturers also received recognition at the event. The following are the names of lecturers who received awards for their outstanding contributions in the academic field:

  • Prof. Dr. Erfan Handoko: Best Lecturer II for Intellectual Property Rights, as a reward for his extraordinary achievements.
  • Dr. Hadi Nasbey: Best Lecturer III for Scientific Publication, in recognition of his outstanding research contribution.
  • Dr. Widyaningrum Indrasari: Best Lecturer II for Scientific Publication, as an appreciation for significant scientific work.
  • Dr. Teguh Budi Prayotno: Best Lecturer I Scientific Publication, in honor of his outstanding research efforts.
  • Dr. Iwan Sugihartono: Best Scopus Citation II, as a tribute to his influential research publications.
  • Dewi Muliyati, M.Sc., M.Sc.: Best Lecturer III Sinta Score Individual, as an award for outstanding academic contributions.
  • Dr. Umiatin: DIKTI 2022 Community Service Grant Recipient, in recognition of his dedication to community service.
