Field Work Lecture 2021: Field Work Instrumentation and Control System Training

As a substitute for Field Work Lectures (KKL) which are held annually by the Physics Study Program, on October 4-7 2021 an online KKL is held with the theme ‘Instrumentation and Control System Training’. This is due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic that has not subsided. In this KKL, physics study program cooperates with PT. Mairodi Sejahtera held training in the form of simulation of instrumentation and control systems for physics students class of 2019.

At this KKL, the training was provided by Mr. Aris Suryadi from PT. Prosperous Mairodi. On the first day, October 4 2021, the activity was officially opened by Deputy Dean I Dr. Esmar Budi. Then, the event continued with remarks by the Physics Study Program Coordinator Dr. Widyaningrum Indrasari. After that, the event started with a prayer by Fauzi Bakri, M.Sc. On this first day, the speaker briefly reviewed basic electronics in the morning. During the day, he then gave students practical simulations using the SimuLide software. After that, students were asked to do some exercises.

On the second day, October 5 2021, the material continued with a brief review of the sensor and transmitter systems in the morning. After that, in the afternoon the event was continued with simulation practices for students using the SimuLide software. After that, students were asked to do some exercises. On the third day, October 6 2021, the material continues with a brief review of open loop control in the morning. After that, in the afternoon the event continued with simulation practices for students using FluidSim and Zelio software. After that, students were again asked to do some exercises.

On the last day, October 7 2021, the material continues with a brief review of closed loop control in the morning. After that, in the afternoon the event was continued with simulation practices for students using the PID Simulator software. After that, students were asked to do some exercises. Furthermore, the event was officially closed by the Physics Study Program Coordinator Dr. Widyaningrum Indrasari.
