2021 Olympiad Inaugural Lecture
Olympiad is one of the compulsory subjects in the physics study program and physics education which contains non-physics material, but contains material about cultivating the character of the values contained in the Olympiad to students. This course indirectly teaches students the values of the spirit of honesty and never giving up in facing difficult situations. This course was first introduced by the physics and physics education study program in 2014 and has received a positive response from both MIPA students and faculty.
On Thursday 26 August 2021 at 03.00-05.00 p.m the physics and physics education study program simultaneously held the inaugural online Olympiad lecture which was attended by all physics and physics education students class of 2021. This was due to the Covid-19 pandemic which has not yet subsided. This inaugural lecture was delivered by Dr. Anggoro Budi Susilo as the originator of the Olympiad lecture for the first time.
Same as in the previous year. physics study program and physics education do not hold joint camping events between lecturers and participants which are usually held around November-December because the Covid-19 pandemic has not subsided. The purpose of this joint camping event is to foster a sense of togetherness as a big physics family. We just pray that this pandemic ends quickly and we can gather again
