Practical activities in the laboratory are absolutely carried out in the process of forming the skills of students in the Physics and Physics Education study program. One of the skills formed through practicum is the skill of using laboratory equipment. These skills can also equip students to carry out Independent Campus Learning (MBKM) activities. The reality in the field is that not all students have the opportunity to use laboratory equipment. Especially students of the Physics and Physics Education study program class of 2021 who carry out online practicum activities. This is the basis for holding workshops that can train skills in using laboratory equipment for students of the class of 2021.
The workshop was held in the Basic Physics Laboratory room, Ex-BAAK Building, 2nd floor, 8-18 August 2023, 08.00 – 15.30 WIB. Workshop participants are students from the Physics Study Program and Physics Education, FMIPA, Universitas Negeri Jakarta class of 2021. The workshop instructors consist of a team of study program lecturers and laboratory assistants, and are assisted by laboratory assistants. Meanwhile, the workshop material is practice using Basic Physics 1 and Basic Physics 2 practicum tools. Through this workshop, it is hoped that students can improve their skills in using Basic Physics practicum tools so that they are better prepared to face Independent Campus activities.
