2020 Chemistry Clump Gathering Olimpisme

Jakarta – On January 15, 2020, the Chemical Clump Olympiad Gathering was held with the theme Citius, Altius, and Fortius with the event slogans Excellent, Respect, and Friendship. In accordance with the slogan conveyed by the Olympiad, the chemistry group gathering was held with the aim of strengthening the sense of friendship between students of the chemistry study program and the chemistry education program. The Chemical Clump Gathering Olympiad was held at the Bogor Botanical Gardens.

The event started with conditioning and student attendance before leaving together for the Bogor Botanical Gardens. After arriving, the material began with the understanding of Citius, Altius, and Fortius by the Representative of the Olympian Lecturer in the Chemistry Family. It is explained that Citius, Altius, and Fortius are of Latin origin. Citius, Altius, and Fortius were the Olympic mottos in Ancient Greece. These three Latin words mean faster, higher, stronger. Baron Pierre de Coubertin, founder of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), in 1894, made these "three words" the Olympic motto. Furthermore, the material was continued by representatives of UNJ physics lecturers who discussed the Olympics and the Olympics in more depth, such as the beginning of the Olympics, and their philosophy. Where at that time (and until now) the Olympics is a well-known event that is used as a way to strengthen relations between gladiators by competing fairly to compete to be the fastest, highest and strongest (as explained in the previous Olympic motto).

The Olympiad Gathering, which was held for almost a full day, provided knowledge to the students of the 2019 Chemistry Cluster in order to strengthen the existing relationship between the two study programs and compete in a healthy manner in the academic field.
