The scientific publication writing workshop is a work program organized by the chemistry study program at the Jakarta State University and the Jakarta branch of the Indonesian Chemical Association. This program presents expert speakers in their fields so that participants gain insight regarding scientific publications and their application. This workshop was successfully held on Tuesday, 11 July 2023 which presented Dr. Rachmat Adhi Wibowo fromAustrian Institute of Technology and Irkham, M.Sc., Ph.D from Padjadjaran University. This workshop discusses how to write scientific papers and where to publish them.

The activity began with an opening by Dr. Hanhan Dianhar, M.Si, then continued with remarks from the chairman of the Jakarta Indonesian Chemical Association (HKI) by Dr. Yuni K. Krisnandi and Vice Dean I FMIPA UNJ by Dr. Esmar Budi M.T. after that it was followed by the delivery of the first material by Irkham, M.Sc., Ph.D as the first speaker. The material sessions ran intensively starting from the types of articles, ways of writing, places of publication, scope of the journal, journal rank, and novelty. Then proceed with the delivery of the second material by Dr. Rachmat Adhi Wibowo. The second material session was informative starting from the position of scientific publication, the function of scientific publication, the impact of a scientific publication, and continued with interactive scientific writing training. Through this scientific publication writing workshop, it is expected to increase the motivation of participants in scientific writing and publication.
