Jakarta – In September, the Chemistry Study Program held a Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (Independent Learning-Independent Campus), also known as the MBKM Curriculum Workshop, as a form of support for the program of the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemendikbud). This event was held online on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 by presenting a resource person, namely Dr. rer. Nat. Nurul Hidayat Aprilit, S.Si, M.Sc., Head of the Department of Chemistry, Gadjah Mada University. This event could be held because of the role of the Chemistry Study Program Coordinator, Chemistry Lecturers, and also the Chemistry Study Program students who were present at the event. The workshop was guided by Mrs. Yussi Pratiwi, S.Pd., M.Sc. as moderator.

The event was opened by the Coordinator of the Chemistry Study Program, Mrs. Fera Kurnia Dewi, M.Si., followed by reading the CV and presentation from the resource person, Mr. Nurul Hidayat Aprilit, S.Si, M.Sc. The presentation of the material starts with an explanation of the curriculum material that applies at the Chemistry Study Program at Gadjah Mada University, various forms of learning activities that can be carried out by students, and the implementation of MBKM rights that can be carried out in universities, other universities, or in the industrial world (companies). In line with the existing forms of activities, the design of an assessment of the results of MBKM activities is an important aspect that is carried out to determine student implementation of the program that has been done. The discussion between the chemistry lecturers and the resource people was informative until it was time for the event to be closed. It is hoped that by holding this workshop on the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) Curriculum, the Jakarta State University Study Program is ready to implement the Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) curriculum as a form of activity in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture No. 3 of 2020 on the National Standard of Higher Education.
