ISO/IEC 17025:2017 is an international standard that specifies requirements for the technical competence of testing and calibration laboratories. This standard provides guidance regarding quality and technical management that should be applied in laboratory operations. Through the introduction of ISO/IEC 17025:2017, the Chemistry Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at Universitas Negeri Jakarta seeks to create graduates who not only have academic knowledge, but also technical competence and an understanding of the importance of quality in the laboratory world. Thus, students are expected to be ready to face the challenges of an increasingly complex and demanding world of work.
